My meeting with ex-cricketer Saeed Ahmed

From the Archives Originally posted by Shah Rukh on Pakpassion It was a hot sunny Thursday, as we met up with a friend of ours who lived at the Red house. We parked our car outside red house, and rested by the side of the car while discussing whether to go play some Call of duty at the local gaming lounge. As we wasted time and whined about petty stuff, we noticed a flock of molvis going house by house and preaching their ideas to every household member whose door bell they rang. They were still quite away from us. We didn’t want to be approached by the preachers, especially today, when we just wanted to waste some time here and there and go home. The evolution of Sarfraz Ahmed

If the world had ended in 2012 accordingly to the Mayans prophecy, then history would had proclaimed that Sarfraz Ahmed was a keeper who could not hold a bat; was someone who would come at no.7 or 8 and walk back to the dressing room in the same over he arrives at. During his initial international days, Sarfraz looked as if he didn’t know how to score runs. Even if he did get a couple of over’s to play, he would only defend the ball and not try to score runs. He was usually in and out of the team. His good keeping skills and Kamran Akmal’s atrocious were

And the PSL 5 Winner is…………

The stage was set, 32 days had gone by, and now we were about to have our winner finally. 4 teams had been eliminated, and only 2 were left. On March 22 nd 2020, both those teams were expected to take the field one final time.  As always, before the start of PSL every match, there were some rituals that needed to perform. Everyone had their own rituals. If you were a fan watching the game on tv, you made sure you grabbed the remote and had the living room to yourself. If you were a youngster living in a hostel, you had your laptop set up beforehand, while having YouTube opened with the B sports streams. If you were one of the few lucky ticket holders, then you would have made sure to reach the ground on time to grab all the free merchandise that was to be thrown out. Even the umpire that their own ritual, where they would come out to the ground while rubbing hand sanitizers on their palms. Two teams would have walked out one last time. While the fans would have been excited
